ccgi timeout errors - ccgi server 3

I'm getting some intermittent time-out errors on PHP files located on the ccgi server.
Running the clock times  program ( http://ccgi.csogilvie.plus.com/dates.php ) has given:
I am running on: ccgi03.plus.net
Mon May  4 18:16:20 UTC 2009
Mon May  4 18:16:22 UTC 2009
Mon May  4 18:16:22 UTC 2009
500 read timeout
sh: line 1: ssh: command not found
sh: line 1: ssh: command not found
So it looks like something might be up with ccgi server number 4 (ccgi04.plus.net)
A second run gives:
I am running on: ccgi01.plus.net
Mon May  4 18:23:13 UTC 2009
Mon May  4 18:23:14 UTC 2009
Mon May  4 18:23:14 UTC 2009
500 read timeout
sh: line 1: ssh: command not found
sh: line 1: ssh: command not found
so it seems it might be consistent.
I will ring support.

Re: ccgi timeout errors - ccgi server 4

Support took it on board and I think it is now fixed.
I have tried the clock script 5 times, spaced 3 minutes apart and have not had a problem.

Re: ccgi timeout errors - ccgi server 4

I was having intermittent problems earlier whilst trying to sort out my sisters website.  I thought it may have been related to Rumpus, but seems like it may have been one of the CCGI cluster, as per this thread.

Re: ccgi timeout errors - ccgi server 4

The servers were given a kick earlier this morning in response to an internally raised problem. Should be OK now but shout up if you continue to experience problems.

Re: ccgi timeout errors - ccgi server 4

Anyone else getting timeout errors on ccgi?
The 'clock-reading' script is giving:
I am running on: ccgi04.plus.net
Mon May 11 18:02:28 UTC 2009
500 Can't connect to 212.159.7.150:80 (connect: timeout)
500 Can't connect to 212.159.7.155:80 (connect: timeout)
Mon May 11 18:02:49 UTC 2009

I will put in a support ticket. [Edit] Have done the ticket.
[Edit] Now seems to be 1, 2 and 3
I am running on: ccgi04.plus.net
500 read timeout
500 Can't connect to 212.159.7.150:80 (connect: No route to host)
500 Can't connect to 212.159.7.155:80 (connect: No route to host)

I'm getting some intermittent time-out errors on PHP files located on the ccgi server.

Wed Jul  1 06:39:59 UTC 2009
500 Can't connect to 212.159.7.155:80 (connect: timeout)

Wed Jul  1 06:45:59 UTC 2009
Wed Jul  1 06:45:59 UTC 2009
500 read timeout
Wed Jul  1 06:46:18 UTC 2009
Wed Jul  1 06:52:01 UTC 2009
Wed Jul  1 06:52:01 UTC 2009

All 'green' on the service status pages.

Re: ccgi timeout errors - ccgi server 3

The last 2 accesses have shown that the timeout problem might have been fixed.
Will try again later.
