Re: ccgi - slow response

Looks like I did !!!  Sad
It has been running fine for the last few days and after reading your post, I immediately checked my site and same result .....40+ seconds to get the home page up.
And THEN....(same old story).... I though I would just check again while I was actually typing this, chose a "heavy" page, and it was up in less than 2 seconds.
What would be really good would be if any other PN cgi users could add to this post to see how many of us are actually suffering from this?

Re: ccgi - slow response

So is it only after a period of inactivity that you see the delays (slow, quick, quick, quick...) or can you see them at any time (quick, quick, slow, quick, quick, slow)?

Re: ccgi - slow response

Hi Gabe
Thanks for your interest, as far as I can tell it is completely at random. I wonder if this could be an SQL server access problem, how many concurrent users can make use of the database system at one time? Unfortunately I am not skilled enough to to know why or how to test/eliminate this theory!
Cheers
