Hello
PlusNet has a bit of troubles to re-direct my new domain to ccgi. This is ongoing for the last couple of days.
Here I would like to just ask and check if these are the correct settings in the domain control tool:
Additional DNS records (Advanced)
Left field Type Pri Right field
domain.org.uk. a 84.92.1.4
mx 20 mx.last.plus.net.
www cname ccgi.plus.net.
I have several times checked, but these settings are exactly as the ones for my primary domain (except the domain name of course).
So, I don't know why my new domain points to the main PlusNet page http://www.plus.com , but it seems it is down to PlusNet's technicians.
Nice day to all

Hi there,
This could actually be attributed to this problem
You can find the domain records required to point it to the cgi platform at this link

Hello
Thank you for the reply and for pointing to the status of a current network problem.
The tutorial is known to me, but it does not discuss what to do for to point to ccgi the http://domain.tld and the http://www.domain.tld (the first one without www, the second one with www). There had been a thread on the old forum where I had got the settings above, which work with my main domain. So I wanted to double-check if that also applies for a second domain.
The tutorial is confusing in regards to subdomains, as these do not work on PlusNet. Otherwise I would already have a http://forum.domain.tld switched through.
Possibly someone would update the tutorial.
Nice day

My domain is still not connected to ccgi.
Do I need to set PRI for the second domain to another number, e.g. to 25 instead of 20? - or does this not matter?
Second question:
does anyone know what the IP-address of my ccgi.space is, or does such thing not exist?
Self-answer: No, there is only the PlusNet IP
See this from iptools.com:
Non-authoritative answer:ccgi.username.plus.com
canonical name = ccgi.plus.net.
Name: ccgi.plus.net
Address: 84.92.1.4
So, that seems to be the proof that PlusNet then internally directs to the user's ccgi. Hope, that PN will get this soon done.

Is it accepted practice that an ISP (in this case PlusNet) is technical not able to point a new domain within a week to ccgi?
Ticket ID: 22639097. I contacted several times customer services, to no avail.
What do other people think about that?

Found that somebody changed the entries of my first domain to:
And it still works.
Okey, so I did this now with the new one as well - hope it helps.
Left field | Type | Pri | Right field |
domain.tld. | a | 84.92.1.4 | |

Long wait. Finally PlusNet directed my domain away from their plus.com-page to my ccgi-webspace. Seems to be like in Japan where whole companies close down for a week, otherwise the employees wont go in annual leave?
