ccgi fault

Just checked service status which reports no faults but unable to access my forum - quick ftp check also failed to connect.

I guess it's been delayed past the 6am that is noted on that service status notice.

Re: ccgi fault

Why does CGI show as green when clearly, even if its just planned maintenance (thats now nearly 2.5 hours over due for finishing), it is not?
To indicate there is no problem with it, is misleading.

Re: ccgi fault

I've just tested this on my details and can log in now, I've also posted a retrospective SS about the problems.

Re: ccgi fault

All is NOT right here. Can ftp to the server, but does not list files, or can't connect getting "Login inncorrect" even tried entering username and password manually.
Can browse site that is in root folder, but can't access a site in a folder.
Telnetted in and get "No directory. logging in with HOME=/

Re: ccgi fault

Hi there,
The ftp was caused by a similar issue. I've just tested from here and now get
Quote
230 User  logged in.
Remote system type is UNIX.
Using binary mode to transfer files.

Are you able to log in now too?

Re: ccgi fault

Hi there,
I can load the site from this end.  Is there a lack of colour on it or is it not loading properly for me?

Re: ccgi fault

I've had a look at the site, it looks as though it's loading the body but not the style sheet. I've checked my forum which runs on the cgi servers and the style sheet is loading correctly for me.

Re: ccgi fault

Thanks.
Its one that I loaded yesterday, worked ok then. I think that the best way may be to delete it and start from scratch.
As an aside I added a subdomain to DNS called guild.glyn-devonport.me.uk pointing to ccgi for this mambo site. Do I need to ask for DNS to be set to basic for it to work ?Huh
