Zencart on Plusnet?

Hi, I have recently taken over an online business and the website is built with Zencart. The current web host has been taken over by another company and spends more time down than up...meaning i'm loosing sales!
I need to move my shop and thought as I have webspace with Plusnet I would look into putting it there.
Can anyone tell me if Plusnet supports Zencart now?
If it is supported how do I go about moving it over?

Hi, Had a look at your craft site, have to pass it on to my wife.
Answer - or shall I say probable answer,  Plusnet is not primarily a program hosting service and does not encorage business web sites, you can have a link from your web space to programs stored on other servers, but I dont think that is what you want.  Also form first looks your total site would not fit onto the available space you are allocated on PN Servers

I'm not 100% sure whether or not it would work on our CCGI platform.
I'll see if I can find someone that might know though.

Does Zencart require php5 or will it run on php4?

Digging around, it suggests that the latest version needs PHP5.2 or later, so it won't work on our platform.

also this seems to have been written by Zencart and has this at the bottom, which would mean you cant port it over

No it wouldn't pierre - it means that they own the copyright.
Look at the bottom of this page - you'll see that SMF own the copyright to the forum software used here.
Any company producing software for folks to use in their webspace will likely maintain copyright of the software - doesn't stop them selling it or allowing folks to use it free under license though.

I am not a lawyer, but Zen are currently hosting and running the program, in our case we are using a SMF program on our site, that might make it difficult to put on another server

Pierre - I suspect you haven't actually visited the www.zen-cart.com site...
