Hi,
I am trying to install Wordpress. I've setup the database, downloaded the files and enabled php scripts to execute by running "fixphpperms.sh -c".
However, when I try to run the install script by accessing it through the browser ".........wp-admin/install.php" it attempts to download the file instead of executing the script.
I am assuming/guessing the execution of scripts isn't allowed (despite having run the appropriate command).
Hope that is clear.
Any help would be very welcome,
WannabeeBlogger

That behaviour is symptomatic of PHP not being recognised as a scripting language - if you are using Plusnet's normal host, at a guess you are NOT running on the CCGI server (but should be).

Pod, thanks. That sounds very likely. I'll follow up and let you know.

Pod,
You were right, I was on the wrong servers. Sorted now. Thanks for the prompt response.
