WordPress version 2.8.4

Has anyone tried to install the above version on the PAYH server?
I am running a previous version of WordPress and tried to run the automatic upgrade but I was presented with the following:
I would be interested to know if anyone has installed/upgraded this version manually without any problems.

Hiya
This is because PAYH has PHP Safemode parameter On. to get around this, try to suppress the script from returning warnings by putting the @ sign at the beginning of line 174,628 and 630. the @ sign suppresses any warnings that could have been thrown.
I would be interested in knowing if this has resolved it

I have managed to install the latest version of Wordpress manually without much hassle.  Had to do manual upgrades for all my plugins as well.
It's not too tricky, but a but of a pain.

I don't supposed that it returned the same error messages?

strangely the default install web application wont install:

Yes the MySQL version is 5.something?
I will install this manually now.

Sorry a long time has passed since my original posting.
I ended up upgrading to 2.8.4 manually which was a bit of a pain but it worked successfully.  I tried modifying the original script as suggested but it didn't work and I wasn't exactly sure of what I was doing.  I tried upgrading automatically from 2.8.4 to 2.8.5 and to my amazement it worked perfectly 🙂  Also I upgraded one of the plugins automatically which also worked. 
Has plusnet pressed the magic button here?

Woop Woop! so it's sorted now. I'm not aware of any changes on PAYH platform.
