What have I forgotten?

When I made up my original site two or three years ago, it only ever made it on line with the help I received on here. Last year I made a simple one for one of my refferals, but nothing since.
Obviously the lack of practice and my pea sized brain have conspired to make failure this time inevitable.
If I do the ftp bit, the files are there, but if I try and look at the web page, I just get an index of the files I've uploaded - 3 pictures & the HTML file - no page!!
What have I forgotten?

Is one of the files you've uploaded called index.html?

Yes, that's what's puzzling me.
I made up the page using NVU, and it did ask for some info prior to uploading but I'm just not sure what I did wrong or have missed!

Another happy user - I wish they were all as easy!
(Index.html was the problem)
