Webstats incomplete for 20200706

Good morning.

Can anyone sitting there in PlusNet Towers tell me why the webstats on both of my domains seem to have discontinued from soon after 10:00, in the data supplied for 20200706?

I doubt that this issue was at my end as both sets of stats were collected at slightly different times and it is unlikely that a temporary disconnection occurred at the same relative position in the file. Is the rest of the data available?

Is that data lost forever?

@kaspencer is it only data for 20200706 that you're missing, or are there issues affecting other dates too?

Are you viewing your webstats via the portal/website or collecting the raw data/files from your FTP space?

The raw files are FTP'd from the FTP space. The data files created the day before and the day after are complete for 24 hours. The files created on the offending day start from 00:00 (or slightly after according to whenever the site was accessed) and they both ceased to have any data added sometime soon after 10:00am.

I'd say that the data was not collected for the rest of the day - but it is interesting that the following day restarts at 00:00 (or maybe just a bit after) and continued as normal!

It's not a major loss, of course but I'm pretty sure that you'd like to know why it happened.

Knowing how Webalizer works, I'd say it's safe to say they're lost

@bobpullen Thanks for that, Bob. I should say though that in fact the date of the wayward FTP stats was actually 20200806, not 20200706 - sorry for that error - I must have been asleep when I typed the date!
