Webstats. Wrong years?

I've only just got round to activating webstats.
It shows Jan 2010, followed by Dec 2005, Nov 2005, Oct 2005, Sept 2006 .... Jan 2006, as per attached jpg file.
Surely it should show Dec ... Jan 2009? Are the labels or the data wrong?

Webstats will only process the files for days since you activated it. I suspect that you have had webstats activated in the past and it was deactivated in December 2005. It has now just carried on from where it left off. I have it at the back of my mind that originally webstats was processed for everyone and that that was turned off because many people don't ever look at them. December 2005 would be about the right timescale.
