Webstatistics Log failure ...

The webstatistic log routines have failed again. That may be forgiven, but why has no-one at PlusNet noticed?
Would it not be sensible to assign someone the job of inspecting the log files daily to check that the jobs have run properly and taking action if they haven't?
In hope of an early resolution.

Hi Kenneth,
This is something that is now normally flagged up to us. I'm just chasing this up to see what's going on.

Re: Webstatistics Log failure ...

It seems that the stats have generated for yesterday?

Re: Webstatistics Log failure ...

Yes, the webstats were generated a day or two after my post.
But I still think someone needs to check the logs and take action
on the failure, including notifying users.
Thanks

Re: Webstatistics Log failure ...

Chris checked webstats generation the day of your post and didn't identify any problems. The way Webalizer works means it shouldn't be possible to generate stats for days previous so I'm struggling to explain your observation that they turned up several days late Huh
