Webspace deactivated; support ticket unanswered after a week and a half :(

Hi,
Turning to the forums to see if I can get this issued resolved.....
On 16th November I received an email from PN saying my webspace has been removed and archived due to exceeding its bandwidth by a significant amount. I raised a ticket immediately which 10 days later has still gone unanswered despite several reminders. I don't ever recall such poor response to a ticket in all the years I have been with PN.
Anyway I do not want a recurrence of this issue so want to make sure that whatever measures necessary are in place to prevent this. Not 100% sure what I need to do, which is why I raised the ticket before requesting that my webspace be reinstated.
I have been a PN customer for 15 years since I first got broadband, and my website has been active for almost all of that time and has never received anything more than absolutely minimal traffic.
Basically I need to know how I can manage or restrict the bandwidth used. I am not an IT professional.

Hi Adam,
No problem and thanks for the reply. I have responded on the ticket itself. WEbstats is activated and seems to show a strange, large peak around 14th/15th Nov. Most of it from a very few IP addresses.
Would like to get this reactivated asap. Just don't want to get into the same situ again.

Hi @madgav, thanks for your response.
As this seems to be a (really) isolated incident, we wouldn't worry too much at all.
By all means please get in touch if it happens again but for the moment, with the amount of incidents vs the tenure of the account, we're really not seeing anything at all that should cause alarm.
We'd 100% recommend just keeping an eye on it for the time being.
Did the webspace reactivate as expected?

Thanks for the reply. No, the site has not yet reactivated.
The peak on 14th Nov was followed by another smaller one on 15th, before the site was removed. The number of files accessed by one particular IP address makes me wonder if this was genuine traffic.
If it reactivates I will keep an eye on it as you recommend.
