Website "Forbidden"???

Hi
Today my webspace is returning the error
"HTTP 403 (Forbidden)" in IE6 and
"Forbidden You don't have permission to access / on this server."
in Firefox.
For all pages, on the site.
Plus I am unable to log into the FTP server to see if files are still there, with my usual log in information (which still works everywhere else)
There's nothing on the server status page?
And everything was working fine yesturday (the last time I tried!)
Does anyone else have a problem, or Is there a problem with the server?
PS: I've raised a ticket, but have found, in the past, that the forums are often faster to reply.

Re: Website "Forbidden"???

Hi there,
Bob's just raised a P1 on Homepages/FTP which I imagine may be related to your current difficulties.
Networks are currently investigating as a priority.

Thanks for the fast reply.
Two questions
What's a "P1"?
And where's the "Homepages/FTP" forum, as I can't find it.?

Hi there,
This forum is perfectly adequate for your query Smiley
A P1 is the highest level of internal problems raised by us.  We have P1s, P2s and P3s.

Re: Website "Forbidden"???

Sort of. It's customers on the old storage cluster that are having problems. Those who've been migrated should be able to access their sites fine.

How odd,
www.username.plus.com is still working fine, however attempting to access my webspace via my domain name doesn't work.

Curious.  Access to http://www.happychild.org.uk has (seemingly entirely) gone, likewise the username.force9.co.uk address.  However http://www.freeway.plus.com is still apparently working, but without graphics.
Have tried both in FF and IE with control/refresh, to rule out any cache factors.  Are graphics and page files housed separately perhaps?  On the PN servers if not the F9 ones.
Hope this gets fixed *soon* Sad Sad

Looking at your site it appears that the graphics and images are pointed to your happychild.org.uk site, due to this being down the images aren't appearing.

LOL  *that* never occurred to me Cheesy
Any news on a fix, Chris?  I recognise that outages such as this one are exceedingly rare, but if it continues it will impact on search engine listings etc.

Re: Website "Forbidden"???

Both of my domains are hosted directly in the htdocs folder though, so how come one works, and the other doesn't? Surely they are just DNS records for both pointing to the same place?
