Website Redirect

Hi,  I need to find out how I can redirect my current web address to go to a WIX site we have just created.

We are a small charity based play school who can't afford to get a site done so we have used WIX to update our look but our advertised web address is our www.username.plus.com and I want to send people to the wix address automatically.

Can anyone help please?

Thanks

Re: Website Redirect

As your website http://www.happyfaces.plus.com/ is in the public domain I'm guessing it's OK for me to comment.

I'm not in the position of needing to use childcare services, but looking at some of the prices on that site makes me wonder how many people would be able to afford them, especially;

"The extended hours service means you may pay for your child to be with us for longer than the sessional times, at a rate of £4.00 every 15 minutes.  This service is also normally booked in advance, but can be used in an emergency.  If your child is collected after 4pm, the charge raises to £16 per 15 minutes as normal pre school ends at 4pm."

Re: Website Redirect

You need to replace the index.html file on your Plusnet web site with the following:

<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Strict//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-strict.dtd">
<html>
<head>
<meta http-equiv="Refresh" content="1;url=http://www.newsiteaddress.tld/" />
</head>
</html>

Anyone then going to your old site should be automatically redirected to the URL of the new site.
