Web hosting down?

my website and forum run off the same domain and neither are working as of 18.30.
i get page can not be displayed error. the website has been working today, was working at lunch time i think.

yeah i have just tried it again and its now openign but after a very long time

Yeah something went down.  Forums was offlne for around 30mins unable to get a response from cgi servers.
Now everything is very slow.

again?  as someone new to using the cgi servers is this what I can expect?  overall I cant say I am too happy with the way the webservers are run.

Everything should be back up and sites should be loading again now. I asked one of the guys in the CSC to take a look and they had already called out networks about it.

Has anyone else other than yourself tried connecting now that the servers sorted? I tried the link the OP posted and that works fine now (including the forum). I can't comment much further other than that since I don't use the CCGI servers, but I'd suggest asking someone else to try connect also to make sure it is infact your site that has problems and not something else.

The CCGI servers are being targeted with the intent of disrupting the service. All you can do is wait for either PN to block the attack or it subsides.
