Using Filezilla with secure plusnet webpages

I just discovered from this forum that my plusnet webspace (created when I had a business broadband) can be accessed securely at https://homepages.plus.net/***myaccountname***/

Is there a way I can use Filezilla to send files securely to this secure area? At the moment if I try to connect to the host ftp.plus.net it gives dire warnings that my username and password will be sent in clear over the internet, which is not desirable!

I've just found a plusnet help page which states "Your webspace uses the server ftp.plus.net, which supports SSL." Does this mean the Filezilla error "Insecure server, it does not support FTP over TLS" is incorrect?

The FTP server doesn't support SSL/TLS. Where is the web page you've referred to?

Glad to help, but is the upshot that there is no secure way I can update files on my webspace?
