Hi I am looking for any free usenet server does plusnet support usenet I am doing a cource on how the internet started and was readint about use net and like to give it a try I also been looking at online BBS boards using tell net and now want to try usenet I found a few free servers but not very good most you have to pay for. any info be handy thanks.

From a Plusnet connection, you can use news.plus.net on port 119 (no authentication).
The server does not carry binaries though.
If you need access away from your Plusnet connection, try Eternal September - https://www.eternal-september.org/
