Use DNS to push all subdomains to my own server

Hi all,
I have a domain registered and hosted with plusnet, and I wish to point the DNS A record for all subdomains to my server.
I have tried configuring an A record with a * in the left hand side but that is not allowed.
Basically I want
www.mydomain.co.uk
mydomain.co.uk
anysub.mydomain.co.uk
all to be pointed at my server.
How can I do this through the plus net DNS configuration?
Cheers,
R.

You can't use wildcards. Each subdomain will have to be entered individually.
Edit: Have you tried with CNAME?

CNAME and may be wildcards can be used.
