Unable to access domain

I maintain a domain website hosted on madasafish www.eyta.org.uk

Since yesterday I have not been able to access this webspace.

Dreamweaver says that an "ftp error occurred etc."  I have not changed any of the settings.  I tried the "chat" but the person I contacted could not see why I cannot access.  Settings seem fine, password OK etc.

I have another site on plusnet space, that is fine.

I downloaded "fling" ftp programme.  Same result. No access.

What next?   Any suggestions appreciated please.

Re: Unable to access domain

We're aware of the problems affecting MAAF FTP and have posted a service status update here: http://www.madasafish.com/support/service-status.html?action=messages&ispservice_id=webspace

We'll post another update as soon as we get one, sorry for the issues.

Re: Unable to access domain

Note that it also applied to the Plusnet webspace

Re: Unable to access domain

Thanks for link. I am not optimistic about how this will resolve, but would be happy to be proved wrong.

Re: Unable to access domain

Just found this thread. I've been having this problem too, since last Friday, in my case on a freenetname account. So today I rang Technical Support, and the girl knew nothing about it, couldn't find a solution and has referred it to the 'relevant department' and says they'll call back within 72 hours. Having read this, I would have been more impressed if she had apologised, said that she knew about the problem, and that they were working on a solution.

I've had the freenentname account since 2005 and never had any problems until now. It doesn't give me much confidence in Plusnet or their technical support, so unless it is solved pronto I'll be looking at moving my account somewhere else.

Re: Unable to access domain

The online support page states that the next update on the situation will be 19/04/2016 @ 15:00 but no update posted.

See: http://www.madasafish.com/support/service-status.html?action=messages&ispservice_id=webspace

What is the prognosis please?

Re: Unable to access domain

I've just posted an update here about this. It's not good news though Sad

I'll see if I can get somebody to update the service status thread. That shouldn't have been overlooked. Apologies.
