Unable to access Webspace with FP nor with CuteFTP

I migrated to PlusNet, partly because of support for FrontPage extensions.  I activated FrontExtensions about a week ago.  However, when I try to upload my site with Front Page I get various error messages.
So in desperation I downloaded CuteFTP and still no progress.  i.e.
CuteFTP - File – Connection Wizard – Host Address – ftp.plus.net – Site Name – ftp.plus.net – User Name – myusername – password – mypassword
Error message “The host validation failed.  Check that the user name and password are correct.  Press no to skip check.”
Any suggestions / help appreciated. Thanks

If you must use Front Page to up lode to the Front Page Server, put in to Front Page:
For f9  http://fp.Username.f9.co.uk
For PlusNet http://fp.Username.plus.com
with your Username & Password from the portal.

Thanks for the advice, but unfortunately it doesn't work.  Maybe the webspace needs setting up in some way by plusnet?

There is an open problem with FP activation so I suggest you raise a ticket and ask if your account is affected by the problem. ALso state the problem you have with normal FTP access and get CS to reset the component.

I raised a problem last week on homepages access not activating correctly(49958), it's probably this causing the OPs problem.
I'll see if I can get this pushed through, in the meantime it's simple enough to fix on a single user basis by refreshing the component internally.

Thanks for messages.  I am now able to upload my webpages using CuteFTP and they are displaying OK.  However, I would prefer to use Front Page and also have the FP extensions in operation.  Anyway, I have a current "My Question" on this, so hopefully I will have FP soon.
