Please can someone advise if there is an easy fix for the following problem (without upgrading to fibre)? I currently have Plusnet unlimited broadband (i.e. not fibre). This works fine for working from home, kids school work and basic streaming service such as BBC iPlayer etc.. For work, I have to use Microsoft Teams and I believe that the work laptop uses various levels of security including VPN (which can be turned on or off), encryption etc to ensure safe working. However when the kids are using apps such as Zoom or school Microsoft Teams I lose all connectivity. It is as if all of their traffic is prioritised over mine.
We have looked to see if we can prioritise my work laptop via the router (Technicolor TG582n) but without success.
Advice most welcome. Thank you.
Fixed! Go to the fix.

I've made some changes which should prioritise VPN access within your home network. I've added more detail about this on a support ticket you can view and respond to by going Here.
I hope this helps.

Many thanks Anoush, this is very much appreciated.
I'll find out next week if the problem is resolved when everyone is back on-line for school.
Thank you for your kind attention and speedy response.
