Threatscan quarantined some files. But they are OK

On 21 June some files in my webspace (ccgi.thekiwis.plus.com) were quarantined. I restored then but on 6 July it happened again. So I guess someone is running some malware scanning.

However these files are fine. Three are .PNGs that I created myself. Others are part of Google's PHP API client.

A couple of questions:

* Can I get notified in some way when this happens, rather than my website just stopping working?

* How can I stop this scanning, or at least stop these false positives?

Any help with this would be appreciated as discovering the sites is down and replacing the files is somewhat tedious.

Thanks

Kiwi

Re: Threatscan quarantined some files. But they are OK

Thanks for your post, @Kiwi2.

We're sorry to hear of this issue and for the inconvenience caused.

As the domain is still showing as expired, I've sent a ticket off to our hosting partners and now await their response - Which we usually get within the hour.

As soon as we have a response we'll update you here.

Thanks OP.

They have now resolved the domain issue, so we're back to this question about Threatscan I think.

Thanks for the update, @Kiwi2

I've raised this back to our network team to take a look at the quarantine issues.

As soon as they provide an update I'll ensure you're updated.

Best wishes
