The email and webhosting is being migrated to a third party. If things work to plan, users will receive a 60 day notice of the migration of their email account. plus.com entered the programme late last year.
Users having (any of) a website, domain name or ccgi service are supposed to be at the back of the programme. I have all of these and have not yet had notification of migration. However, from the posts around the mail board there are (unconfirmed) hints that users with a website (only ?) might indeed have been migrated. They report issues.
You have a domain name, as do I
- Domain names point direct to the PN IP addresses
- www.domain names point to homepages.plus.greenbysites.com
- Yours point to 212.159.8.91
- Mine point to 212.159.9.91
I was going to say mine works, yours does not ... @bobpullen / @dave / @plusnettony is there a network problem ...
... then to post this, I thought I have better double check my facts. Mine is not working on Win11 MS Edge, I get ...
... whilst at the same time on my iPhone, the site loads. There is some small chance that the phone is using a cached page!
Browsing InPrivate triggers the SSL not supported warning and Service Unavailable is returned.
Attempts to access via www.account.plus.com delivers the same failure.
This looks like a pan-service issue.

Not here over a Plusnet ISP connection...
... but if I drop my phone off WiFi onto to mobile, then it works fine, as does yours.
@dave is this an internal network issue?

I suspect it's related to an internal issue we're dealing with at the moment. It's working for me from the Plusnet internal network.

Any clue as to how long before this problem is resolved?
As I type:
- I can't browse to www.[myAccountName].plus.com, it gives a 'Service unavailable' page
- I can reach that webspace via my FTP clientby FTP
- I can browse to ccgi.[myAccountName].pluscom

Is it impacting anything beyond access to websites please?

If the matter which Dave was investigating was related to the matter of this thread then it has been resolved or the subject matter of this thread has gone away. Would be nice to understand what was going wrong.
