Telnet my CGI accoun

Can someone please help?  I can telnet my webspace at hmburg52.plus.com and it connects straight away.  I try cgi.hmburg52.plus.com and all I get is the error cannot open connection port 23.  I am running Win XP Pro and  I have opened the Telnet service.  I have a Draytek 2600 router and have set it to foward port 23 to my machine.  Now what can i do?

cgi.hmburg52.plus.com is not a valid hostname.
Are you trying to Telnet into your own machine at home, or Plusnet's cgi server?

Sorry, I am trying tio logon to the Plusnet CGI server.  I'm a complete novice at PHP and hope to set up a forum on my area!

You telnet to ccgi.plus.net and login using your cgi login and password.

Thanks Peter, thats great!  Now I can try the Forum software...........

I'm not sure I'd be putting effort in to setting things up on the ccgi servers given that they are going to be turned off in a few months time!
