Hi, I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask, but I've just got a new smart tv and the freesat connection into the tv is very loose, I think I need a new nut type thing to keep it screwed in. Could anyone tell me the name of the connector I need? Thanks.

An 'F' connector maybe
Available from Amazon
They don't usually wear loose, they just need tightening up.
It wouldn't be the first time I have used a small spanner to help things along.
As long as it's not cross threaded.

Thanks Strat, I think that's what I need, on my connector the nut is just turning, I think it's too big but I'll have another look.

When screwing in the connector try to hold the cable with you other hand to take the weight off the nut as you screw it in. I have just done the same to my new TV that I got the other day so I'm mentioning this having been there and just done that.

Thanks Mook, I'll give it another go before I buy another one, I think that the copper needs to be cut back a bit more as well.
