Suddenly being charged for Domain Hosting on Unlimited

I've been with PN for around 10 years and when I originally signed up I got a free Domain Name.  Then, a couple of years later, after a security breach at PN they offered a second free Domain name, which I took up.
Since April this year I have had problems with my billing, which were apparently resolved in October - However, Since October, PN have begun charging me "Generic Included One Pound Domain charges"
When I switched from Premier to Unlimited over a year ago, there was no mention of losing this free domain hosting, and I have not been charged before.  On the Domain help, it does list this charge for the Unlimited account, but of course, that could have been changed anytime.
Has this happened to anyone else?

I've had a similar problem on PAYG.
It was standard on legacy products to show a single line on the invoices which included the extra £1 for the free domain. So although PAYG 15GB was £19.99 my invoice showed £20.99 which included the 'free' domain. In October I also had the "Generic Included One Pound Domain charges" added, but the base price of the PAYG should have been reduced by £1 at the same time. They've applied a £1 discount to my account to compensate for the error.
It was one of Plusnet's sharper practices to give the prices including the domain, and many people were paying the £1 extra even if they had not added a domain. You could ask for the £1 to be taken off the monthly payment if you had no intention of adding a domain.
How much were you paying on Premier before you switched? I think it should have been £22.99. On Unlimited I think you should be paying £21.42 (or £17.34 if you are on a Market 3 exchange).

Currently on Value,  made sure all features were transferred when I moved  and they had better not change it now

user.me.uk does count. You can have one of those hosted for email purposes only without using any webspace.
Was your domain a free one given to you after the email debacle?
