I'm totally unable to access www.plus.net or portal.plus.net (it just times out) using my normal browser (Firefox), IE or Chrome from any of my PCs.
I can access using Opera's VPN security option.
I've checked and other AAISP users have no troubles.
telnet www.plus.net 80
times out as does attempts to telnet to port 80 on 212.159.9.2 and 212.159.8.2.
Any ideas?
Edit: The reason this is an issue is that I'm left with a spinning circle on these forums as there are elements on these pages that come from the main Plusnet servers.

Just tried webmail.plus.net and that is failing as well so it looks like a failure on the route to the datacentre which hosts the servers.

I'm not sure what this could be off the top of my head but I've asked someone to take a look. I'll get back to you asap.

Stranger and stranger. Apparently one day there were a huge number of hits from my IP to Customer Support Statistics so my IP has been blocked. I've no idea what generated that. I did have a Google bookmark to that page which just I've now deleted in case that was something to do with it.

Has the block been lifted?
In another browser tab, login into the Plusnet user portal BEFORE clicking the fault & ticket links

Apparently no calls were handled today, so I doubt Plusnet are bothered about any inability to provide customer response statistics.

Not yet, I'm still digging. Hopefully I'll have some more info for Jelv shortly on this. FYI it wasn't a manual block, it was automated.

@VileReynard Yes, I noticed that. Not a single call until about 4:15 this afternoon.

In spite of Chris saying he was to ask for the block to be lifted I still can't access many Plusnet sites. This includes the still active Plusnet mailbox that I want to use for notifications from these forums.

It's starting to look a bit petty @jelv Need to ''fess up' or fix it

I too have been the victim of an automated block caused by a cyclic redirect within one of Plusnet’s HTML pages that I just happened to land on. It managed 3.5K hits on the server within 10 minutes resulting in my ban. But I have to say my ban was lifted during a phone call.

Thanks for that information @Anonymous. I've been really struggling to understand how I got banned.
Totally endorses my decision to leave Plusnet. If this had happened before I left I'd have been totally locked out of my email unless I started using a VPN to get round the block!

@jelv - My only saving grace was the fact that I have two fibre lines so two IP addresses, the whole saga lasted for days and days and was eventually corrected but only came to light when an email about a ticket that was raised as a result of the issue arrived in my inbox, days, and I mean days, after the event took place.
I think @scrookes needs to look at this for you as he was the individual whose detective work resolved my issue. If he can’t (or won’t) fix it then I suspect you’re stuffed!
