Skype

Not sure if I should post this here or in the Fibre Broadband forum but I just wondered whether anyone else hits issues using Skype sometimes where either some people can't see each other or hear each other during meetings?

I think my internet connection's pretty decent?....

Re: Skype

Hi there, I'm sorry to hear you're having problems with Skype.

Nothing wrong with those speeds. Are you video calling using a wired or wireless connection? And have you tried a different device too?

Re: Skype

Hi Anoush,

Thanks for the reply.

I'm using Skype on my laptop with a wired connection to my router.

I'll try it with another device when I have a moment to see if things look different on there.

Re: Skype

But if the speed at the 'other end' is poor or lumpy, you will get a bad session irrespective of your own speeds.

You could perhaps get your Skype partners also to run off speed tests
