Setting up CCGI and PHP

I am trying to set up a webspace but I can not log onto my ccgi space to upload the php files.
What settings are required for FTP explorer or Namo Editor to access the CCGI sites?
What entries are needed to access the PHP file after they are uploaded.

Have you read http://community.plus.net/forum/index.php/topic,69283.0.html
CCGI is due to be turned off soon - I suggest you look at PAYH

Re: Setting up CCGI and PHP

The forum reports that Plusnet has not made a decision as to CGi or the replacements.
This reply does not help me in my problem as reported. Please be helpful in your replies.
I know that CGI may or may not be discontinued and I will address that when the time comes.

It looks like PAYH is dead.

Re: Setting up CCGI and PHP

I connect to the ccgi platform using fireftp with the Firefox browser.
Settings are:- "ccgi.username.plus.com" using port 21.
I have no problem connecting and uploading files.
The username is the PlusNet  username but the password is different because I changed the PlusNet password and this doesn't affect the ccgi password which remains unchanged.
Hope this is of help.
