If unplugging my router helps restore all those without ringing around or going through live chat with them all it will be worth it
@jonnyh1411 it won't!. IP addresses are allocated from small local pools, so even if you do get a new ip address , it will still be in the same IP range which is incorrectly geolocated by iplocate.io
Superusers are not staff, but they do have a direct line of communication into the business in order to raise issues, concerns and feedback from the community.

Quite right! 10 out of 11 Geolocation sites have your IP address correctly located. It's just unfortunate that number 11, which is incorrect, is being used by these streaming services

Just to add, my banking app wouldn't allow me to transfer money and banking portal also doesn't work either as i'm in the US (apparently) and yeah, no Paramount+
Tethering to my phone, which uses a different ISP, resolves all issues but not good enough for streaming!!
Current IP from Plusnet - 150.143.59.x

Same issue here. Disney + wouldn't work, but resolved with them for now.
Netflix thinks I am in the USA as that's what the client shows on the recommended IP address.
Also, couldn't add funds to lottery or buy a lottery ticket as bank won't allow it.
I tried to use a VPN tied to the UK to access the lottery site, but I couldn't acces the site at all, so just using a VPN doesn't seem to be a viable solution
Not been with PN for long and happy up until this, but Plusnet needs to resolve this issue - it's not like it's just one service or just one customer. Will be making a complaint if a fix isn't quickly available.

All is working fine now.

Looks like the IP's are slowly back to the UK as Paramount+ is back working...
Edit - 21:19, Spoke too soon. I can login PM+ but if I try to play anything on a laptop or tv, error 3304 appears. Using a differnt ISP (via mobile) and it all works as it should!

Using the data in ARIN, RIPE, APNIC, etc. isn't that intelligent.
From memory, there have been organisations that have monetised their original 'large' IPv4 allocations and bits of those allocations get (or have been) announced onto the internet from various locations around the globe. Routing tables may be more fragmented,.
My assessment? Some US based streaming services may need a new clue.

I have the same problem which results in Netflix, Disney etc thinking I’m travelling which affects content. I’m not IT savvy at all but would using a VPN, eg. SurfShark potentially help get rid of the issue?

Gonna have to call Plusnet this morning.
What are the odds they will blame Netflix and Netflix will blame my isp?

All that Plusnet will do is suggest that you switch off your hub for a period in the hope that you pick up an unaffected IP address.
Much as it is easy to blame Plusnet, there is nothing whatsoever wrong with the affected batch of IP addresses, there is incorrect information stored in the geolocation database used by these streaming sites.
Whilst outside of their control, Plusnet are trying to get this rectified.

Jut got off the phone with Plusnet. They are aware of this problem and have been honest to say that the only temporary fix is to reboot but that within a day or two it will likely revert back.
They have people trying together this resolved. I know its not Plusnets fault.
She said there was a thread on here that a colleague was going to be posting updates to. Not sure if thats this thread or another but if its another I will post it here as she is going to send me the thread link.

You previously had a UK IP address. What you have done is picked up an IP address that is not one of those incorrectly.designated on the streaming company’s IP geolocation database.
