<rant warning>
So about a 2 weeks ago, I noticed that my Samknows device was testing my IPv6. This made me angry, Because, firstly, Samknows was supposed to test my Plusnet connection, and my IPv6 tunnel was not part of the deal.
Second, after raising this in my industry I find out that the ISP's are using this Samknows data on IPv6 to justify the slow roll out of IPv6 to Ofcom.
And third, Samknows won't even provide the data they have gathered on my IPv6. I had to threaten them under the damned Data Protection Act to find out what they had on my tunnel.
So why I am upset? Because it was Plusnet who introduced me to Samknows. Which is fine. They can absolutely monitor their network, and give me some pretty graphs. But the ipv6 was mine, not plusnets, and out of bounds. When I raised this with Samknows, they at first denied it, then once logs and packet captures provided admitted it, but refused to give me the pretty graphs, or any data what so ever. Not on. So after the threats, I get the data, and find out they have been testing for over a year, (only had success last November when I opened my IPv6 right up to get something working and never bothered tightening the rule, I have fixed that now).
So after a terse conversation with plusnet, no IPv6 planned. And I am kinda Expletived off at Samknows now.
</rant>
So guys, I will be contacting Plusnet weekly to demand IPv6, and as a result of Samknowses crappy behavior, I am monitoring it very closely now and considering just getting rid.
Anyone else for native IPv6 support, and running a Samknows device? Suggest you stop it using your tunnel if you ever want native support.
edit: fixed some grammar, punctuation and changed the pejorative to expletive

Care to elaborate? This is the first I've heard of this
The volume of Plusnet customers with Sam Knows devices will be a very small percentage of the total subscriber base.
