I'd really like my plusnet username taken out of the reverse DNS on my IP. I've had question #202985779 open for over a fortnight with no response.
Why someone at Plusnet thought it was a good idea to publicly disclose the username associated with an IP address I have absolutely no idea.
@muh I know some companies used to name machines (printers, photocopiers, etc.) in the DNS, so they could search and find it on the LAN, but people are not machines.
Maybe it's a sort of fuzzy logic?
