Reverse DNS change

Hi,

I recently switched to having a static IP which is working really well.
But noticed my RDNS setting is <username>.plus.net

Feel qute unfcomfortable "leaking" that information; would it be possible to change it to something more anonymous (a random set of numbers and letters)?

Yes, unfortunatly when I navigate to the Help Assistant page I get:

@Gandalf  may help  - details were in a the post lower down - need to raise a ticket with what you want to change it to so the NetOps team can action it. 

 - youraccountusername@plus.com

 - yourIPaddress.plus.com

 - anythingelse.plus.com

Unfortunatly if I follow the link to the wizard I get redirected to exactly the same "We're sorry, but you can no longer ask a question through the Help Assistant." page.

 

If I could pick a perfect option it would be set to something meaningless like a UUID (or part of a UUID) - for example whatever pops up here:
https://www.uuidgenerator.net/version4

My ip address would probably be ok though.

I've raised a NetOps task to change the rDNS of your static IP to your IP.plus.com

This should be done within the next 3 working days.

We've put through the rDNS change this morning and DNS should propagate within 24 hours.
