Retentions can't match rival ISP deals??

Hi all. Spoke to retentions and mentioned that a rival ISP is offering ADSL+line for £17 a month.
I'm paying roughly £20 a month. Asked PN if they're willing to either match the deal I saw, or maybe reduce my current payment by about £2.

They said they couldn't, and kind of implied I sign up with them instead.

A pretty sad outcome all around.

Unfortunately, it isn't always possible for us to match deals from other ISP's.

If you do choose to go elsewhere we wish you all the best with your new provider
