Hi,
As the title suggest - if I visit talkurbex.co.uk I get a directory structure - how can I redirect http://talkurbex.co.uk to go to http://www.talkurbex.co.uk please?

I think you need to look at the DNS settings for the domain. Without www is pointing to homepages and with www is pointing to ccgi.

Hi jelv
I have only 1 custom setting in Domain DNS - which points www. to my ccgi space. I presume I need to add another on or enter something into the .htaccess?

I just added the following to the .htaccess file
RewriteEngine on
rewritecond %{http_host} ^talkurbex.co.uk [nc]
rewriterule ^(.*)$ http://www.talkurbex.co.uk/$1 [r=301,nc]
Howver it does not work, does PN support rewriteengine?

The htaccess file on which server?
Along the KISS lines - could you not upload an index.html file to homepages that does the redirect?

Quote I wish to have this domain hosted automatically under my webspace
Directory/htdocs/
If the above is selected in the domain setup, I presume that talkurbex.co.uk would then default to the ftp space?

So http://talkurbex.co.uk redirects to my FTP space under HT-DOCS - thinking about what you said Jelv so I just created a quick index.html with the following in it
Works totally fine
<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.0 Transitional//EN">
<html>
<head>
<title>Talk|Urbex - Exploring decaying abandoned architecture…</title>
<meta http-equiv="REFRESH" content="0;url=http://www.talkurbex.co.uk"></HEAD>
<BODY>
Redirecting you right now :).
</BODY>
</HTML>
Works totally fine

Normally you would create a subdirectory under htdocs for the domain and select that for the hosting. That way you can have multiple domains with different content under the same account. As it is you have the webspace used by your username and your domain pointing to the same place.

This may or may not be what you want!
