Problems Syncing My Emails To My Samsung S6 Edge Mobile

Hi All,

 

 

A newbie to this site.

 

I need some help. I am trying to sync my emails on my Plusnet email account to my Samsung S6 Edge mobile phone. I keep getting so far in the process of adding a new email account on the phone, which seems straight forward, but it stalls and says incorrect user name of password or pop3/imap access is not enabled for this account, check your account settings or contact your service provider.

 

I am definitely using the correct user name and password. How do I check if access is enabled to my account. Is this something I need to do on my computer at home.

 

Can anyone help, I am only using the phone as my daughter in law gave me her old phone as she couldn't believe I was still using my old nokia 225.
