Hi,
I am trying to move my site from the webserver to the ccgi server so I can start using some php etc, but I can't get regular html images to load from anywhere except the root directory.
e.g.
This works ...
<a href="test.html" target="_self"><img src="/test.jpg" width="380" class="top"></a>
But this does not
<a href="test.html" target="_self"><img src="/images/test.jpg" width="380" class="top"></a>
I set the permissions on the images directory as 755, and test.jpg has the same permissions in both cases.
Help please !!!! and many thanks in advance for your assistance.
Regards,
webby

I assume that you have double-checked the folder's name (including upper and lower case).
What happens if you put an html file in the folder and try to access it - does that load OK?

Don't!
The ccgi server is going to be turned off in a few months time and you will have to move everything again to the PAYH servers.
Have a read of http://community.plus.net/forum/index.php/topic,69283.0.html - I suggest you should go straight to PAYH.

Hi,
Yes, html from subdirs works OK.
Re straight to PAYH. I would rather have a production solution in place for the next 6 months rather than start using the test server for real. I will also test the migration to PAYH in parallel.

PAYH is not a test server - PAYH existed for a long time before it was bought by Plusnet as part of the Metronet take-over. The only test part of it is the linking to the Plusnet accounts.

Hi
The new service that is on offer to Plusnet customers using PAYH, has been around around for a few years.
The current platform that is in place today was installed over a year ago and has been serving sites since Aug 6, 2007.
Hope that clears things up
