Ok,
question,
Plusnet fibre broadband, when installed is the fibre line all the way to the house (like Virgin media)?
of is it fibre to the main box then through phone line to house?
Cheers
Karl.

FTTC is fibre to a cabinet which is linked to the nearby phone cabinet and shares the phone line to the house - the majority (by far) of domestic fibre is this.
FTTP takes fibre to the house.
Virgin Media AIUI is fibre to a cabinet and coax to the house.

Most of it is but not all. VM have laid (and are laying with Project Lightning) some FTTP. Primarily to their business customers I believe however.
