Just as the title asks really, just had one of these and was curious to know if it is genuine or not.

Sorry @MattyC, feeding my face. No it's not it arrived as an email, this morning after the BTOR guy had left. So it got me thinking it could be OK, but on reading it I'm not convinced (yet); it's the wording you see (recent) being the issue.

I thought not, as to me the use of the word 'recent' implies they were phishing!

One other thought that popped into my head was that maybe due to the amount of shall we say negative feedback Plusnet is getting these days that these messages and their ilk are trying to exploit the situation, a situation that IMO can only get worse before, or even if, it gets better.
