Re: Plusnet Broadband login and Firefox Browser

Thanks Bob for getting the systems team to fix the issue.

Now if you can just the sales team to make the "Existing Customer Offers" on the Portal the same as "New Customer" or better then you will earn more gratitude for lots of people.

Re: Plusnet Broadband login and Firefox Browser

I'll echo the thanks of others to Bob for getting the "Member Centre login via Firefox" issue fixed. Any chance of seeing a post mortem explaining the technical details of how/why the issue occurred, and whether (if there's a similar incompatibility in future) it would be possible to generate a more informative/less misleading error message than "invalid password" plus a prompt to change that password?

On the subject of member centre error messages, today when I logged in to the member centre https://www.plus.net/member-centre/home I was presented with this error message/banner at the top of the page:

   (!) An error has occurred

You can't change your products for the moment, you already have a product change in progress.

Yes, I do have a "product change in progress", but I was just logging in, not actually trying to change any products, so I think this banner referring to an "error" is also an error.

@wgtwalker  I think it is just the clunky member centre software, if you have a product change pending you can't do anything so just have to wait.☹️

And once the change has been completed, for some reason, that completion is not reflected on your account, unless you complain and one of the Help Team pick it up and manually correct it.
