PlusNet index.html file appeared in webspace

The official PlusNet 'this webspace is empty' index.html file got put into my webspace sometime recently.  This of course  takes prescidence over my own index.htm that was already there along with the website.
Anyone else had this, and also was there a good reason for it to have happened at all ?
