I seem to have managed to delete my /tmp folder within my PAYH space. When I try and recreate it I get: Error: Unable to create directory /tmp: filemng failed: mkdir: cannot create directory `/var/www/vhosts/USERNAME.plushost.co.uk/tmp': Permission denied filemng: Error occured during /bin/mkdir command. Am I mistaken? Was it ever there? Any ideas?
I haven't got one now and have never had one. As you discovered we do not have permission to create directories/files at the top level. If you need a temporary directory it could go in httpdocs.
