Hi all,
I have done a search and cannot see a deffinate answer. Basically I have just joined Plusnet and got the new router, I am trying to setup Port Forwarding for my CCTV camera's so I can access them from my works PC.
On my old router with sky it wasn't so bad but with this one I'm at a complete loss. Is there a 'idiots' guide on how to open these or indeed add one, I have turned the firewall settings off.
Thanks and hope this makes sense.

Should be fairly simple and you shouldn't need to disable the firewall.
I suspect port 80 is used for one of the pre-configured applications (web server?). You'd need to create a port forwarding/application sharing rule to point this to the local IP of your CCTV cameras.

I vaguely remember if you tried to create a Port 80 forward on this router it wouldn't let you as there is already one configured in the presets.
You need to choose this under the port forwarding section here :
http://www.plus.net/support/broadband/hardware/plusnet-2704n-advanced.shtml
Choose the http: option in the presets and you should be good to go.
