No FTP Access????????

I've use Filezilla to access my webspace via FTP for years without issue.
However, today I cannot access any content!
Host: ftp.plus.com
Username: {Plusnet Username}
Password: {Plusnet Password}
All I get is this:

Status: Resolving address of ftp.plus.net
Status: Connecting to 212.159.9.91:21...
Error: Connection timed out
Error: Could not connect to server

shouldn't it be ftp://username@ftp.plus.net as the full address

Connecting to my homepages website with FileZilla works OK for me, though I'm using the Force9 servers. For Plusnet the host should be ftp.plus.net but that could be a typo. Has the user recently changed the account password?

Hi Ripperoo,
I've just tested connectivity on my own webspace and all seems to be fine when using ftp.plus.net and my account username and password.
Are you attempting to connect from your Plusnet connection?
Also, just taken a look at your account and your webspace components all seem fine too!
