New to Web pages

???I am new to webpage upload and now need some Forum help.
I managed to get three pages uploaded via Serif Webplus but I now want to change the pages completely.
How exactly do I go about doing this?
I have tried uploading the new setup by way of the SerifWebplus uploading menu but it errors out.
(1)  Should I remove the pages already uploaded first?  I know I can go into Windows Int Explorer and delete in the /htdocs folder.
(2)  If I am eventually successful by way of SerifWebplus, will the new pages overwrite the old?
(3)  Any advice will be appreciated.

There is a problem with FTP.

You delete the old pages and upload the new ones. Normally just uploading the new ones and overwriting the old ones works fine.
You need to use Serif Webplus or an ftp client like cuteftp to access the pages

If you use Firefox (or perhaps download it if you don't already have it) then the FireFTP addon is really quite neat.
You might also find the Firefox Web Developer addon useful too when you get into tinkering with the code of your pages.
