New cgi Platform Speed

I assume everyone is having the same problems with pages not being loaded on the new platform through timing out.  At the moment our sites are failing to load pages between 20% and 40% of the time.
This is making the 16 sites we host through PlusNet effectively unusable.
I assume others are suffering the same problems.
Anyone know when the go faster stripes will be added to match performance on the old platform?

It seems that apache had died on one of the new cgi instances and unfortunately there was also a configuration error on the loadbalancers, so about a quarter of all requests were being sent to a 'dead' server.
The loadbalancer config has been sorted out now, so this should no longer happen. Also the instance that died is being looked at.
