New Webspace Problem

Hi
Forgive me if this is an idiotic question, but I'm new here!  Wink
I am using Dreamweaver MX 2004 to create and upload to my webspace.  I have uploaded 2 webpages, including the default Index.html page.
If I go to check the website is there (at www.benchmark-joinery.co.uk), it flashes up the homepage (index.html) for a second or so, then switches to http://webspace/plus.net/webspace_plusnet.html. ; There is a message at the top that says that the web address has not yet had a web page uploaded to it!  Then after a while it goes to the www.plus.net website.  Angry
Am I doing something stupid?  Huh
I would appreciate any advice!
Sue

including the default Index.html page.

Due to the setup of our homepages server you might want to use all lower case. Without even looking at your webspace I'm assuming that there is an Index.html (yours) and an index.html (ours) {note the lowercase 'i'}. If you remove our index.html file, or rename yours to index.html (with a lowercase 'i') this should work.

Re: New Webspace Problem

Hi,
Thanks for your reply Chris.  Sorry, but I just automatically capitalised the I in index: The actual file is index.html.  Nevertheless, I did delete the uploaded page and try again. Unfortunately, I am still experiencing the same problem.
Hope you can advise!

Re: New Webspace Problem

Do you have a line similar to this in your html?
<meta http-equiv="refresh" content="1;url=http://webspace.plus.net/webspace_plusnet.html">

If so, take it out and reupload the page Wink
