Re: New CGI Web Space

If you've been moved over to the new CGI Platform, the CGI details should be available at https://hosting.plus.net/portal/ .
Please let us know if you require any further help or details.

Yes, you need to login to the control panel using the information which should should have been provided to you. Click the middle (Manage Websites) icon if you need to then access the FTP Manager application. This will show you your FTP username and allow you to set a master FTP password. The FTP hostname and your username should be your site URL.
Edit: correction/clarification.

Re: New CGI Web Space

Everything seems to have transferred and work fine anyway. The host server seems reasonably quick too. I notice that there seems to be quite a history of backups available dating up to several months ago. I haven't investigated but I presume that these have been transferred over from the PN server too - I had always assumed that PN didn't back up ccgi but maybe they just didn't guarantee it.
Nice to have access to a more up to date system.
Well done on the transfer.
There seems to be quite an improvement in disk space and IO bandwidth which have always been quite low. Will this now be a separate allocation from the homepages server or are the 2 aggregated somehow?

Overall then, this seems to be a very great improvement.

Oh come on Dick (Strat) - exactly how do you sensibly quote a two word posting in less than the same two words?  Wink
