Netflix and broadband use/throttling

We recently cancelled our TV licence and moved over to Neflix for entertainment. (No great loss given what is offered by the BBC and the other terrestrial live broadcast channels.).

We have only a 1080p tv but this still equates to several Gbytes an hour. I have the PN extra package with unlimited download, but am concerned about just how much ‘bandwidth’ I can use before something happens. Recent past experience indicates that words, such as unlimited, rarely mean what they should.

Ah, you mean the fair usage cap some ISPs use in their T&Cs. For the most part Plusnet have unlimited as “unlimited” but you should really check T&Cs for your package to be certain there’s no cap in there.
That's RPM to you!!

@ci1

I have read on this forum of people using over a Terabyte a month so I would not worry about it.
