Multiple sites or PN accounts?

I have developed quite an extensive PHP, MySQL driven website for my local Crown Green Bowling league http://www.jnmbc.co.uk/tameside
Other sporting leagues are beginning to show an interest and I have been wondering how I can best serve them. This could run in to quite a number of different bowling leagues and other sports. i.e. Snooker, Darts, Cricket etc
Can a buy large capacity hosting so that I can build multiple sites in one location or should I be looking to host each of my sites on different servers with different hosts.
I like all the facilties offered by PN but obviously I only get 250 mb webspace and only one MySQL database
I think that elsewhere I might have to pay as much as £100 pa for hosting and domain registration but i don't know how much space i would get for that.
Any help would be appreciated.

That seems to go a long way to answer my questions.
I would need multiple MySQL databases and PHP functionality and it would appear that all my requirements would be met by PAYH.
